A little piece of copper tubing is crimped over the wire rope to form a copper tail. This tail keeps the rope from dropping out of the panel anchor.
Use nice straight 1x 2 rails to support the thin plywood pane.l
A piece of 3/4" wide steel strap is bent into a device to prevent the load platform prop from colapse during use. It pivots on one screw to unlock.
