It has been a few weeks but I finally got around to molding the plain sides.  Here you can see how I have drilled the back plate for the panel with a grid of 1/4" holes....  As I fill the cavity, these holes flood and act to hold the panel tight to the back plate.
With the side molds done, I then place the front and back panels that I cast back in their molds.  To keep them in place I made two plates with threaded rod jack screws that apply uniform pressure.  Now I can pour material to cast the first side.
