Battery color.
It is easy to see that the light blue color with heavy green cast on an original battery is much different than shown on the reproduction artwork. Careful inspection shows only two colors used on the original. Blue and Orange. The light blue is simply less blue pigment.
This color scheme is is very similar to this Saturday Evening Post advertisement from March 17- 1928. However this advert shows black on the top and sides.
Also the graphic is different on the top.
It is currently not known if the Fahnestock clips are earlier or later than the machined binding posts in the advertisement.
